Internship – Process Engineer – Building Materials Manufacturing

Basic Job Functions/Position Description
Partner with plant engineer and/or department manager on process improvement and project work in the areas of Waste, Speed, Delay or Quality
Identify improvement opportunities
Organize team to help in research efforts
Assist with gathering data for capital expenditure request
Coordinate and implement projects
Actively participate in plant safety program
Identify and reduce hazards related to plant equipment
Participate in safety audits
Requirements
Engineering students with Junior or Senior status
Minimum GPA: 3.0
Strong problem solver with the ability to think ahead and take action
Able to make decisions that achieve optimal results
Strong interpersonal and written/oral skills
